I'm a writer of science fiction, mysteries, alternate history scenarios, and stuff that doesn't fit comfortably in any genre, with two published books.  The highlights of this website are the book previews, nearly ten years of Alternate History Newsletters, and an occasional feature called SciTech For Writers.

New writing will generally show up first on either my Gather Homepage or my blog, then get incorporated into this more structured website later.
