March 28, 2010:  Uploaded two new alternate history newsletters.

Feb 28, 2010: My novel Exchange is due to be published on July 6, 2010.

Feb 9, 2009: Entered Char into this year's Amazon Novel contest.

Jan 30, 2009: Digitized and put on line a Gold Rush era wagon train diary that has been kicking around my wife's family since 1850.

Jan 15, 2009: Made available a series of thought pieces on The Future Of Books.

Nov 30, 2008: Entered this year's NaNoWriMo challenge (to write a novel, or at least 50,000 words on one, in a month) I wrote a little over 73,000 words on a novel tentatively called All Timelines Lead To Rome .

Oct 15, 2008: Moved the webpage to my own domain name because AOL shut down their web hosting (with no provision for forwarding--thanks AOL)

Jan 15, 2008: Char is a Finalist in the truTV Search For the Next Great Crime Writer Contest. Char is a cross between a police procedural and an alternate history/alternate reality novel.  It is in the top 5 out of over 260 entries in the contest.

Jan 15, 2008: Major website revision.  I first did this website nearly seven years ago.  It was getting very outdated.  I decided to revamp the design, emphasize the things that are important to me now, and make the website more maintainable.

March 20, 2007: SciTech For Writers Newsletter. 
I will be doing an irregular/when there is news newsletter to pass along science and technology news I think may be of interest to writers.
